History of the Hyland Hills Men's Club
The Hyland Hills Men’s Club was formed in 1964 to promote a tournament level golf program for the golfing enthusiast and to provide both social and golfing contacts among its members. The initial dues were $5! Today, dues are $100 for existing members and an additional $100 for 1st time new members, who must complete an application process. If you have an interest in joining the Club, drop us an e-mail and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Membership in the Hyland Hills Men’s Club does not provide tee-time preference nor per-round cost benefits.
Today's Club has over 200 members of all abilities from all over the Denver Metro Area. The Club stages 15 tournaments on the Championship 18 Hole Gold Course at the Greg Mastriona Courses at Hyland Hills, 9650 Sheridan Boulevard in Westminster, Colorado. The Hyland Hills Men’s Club golf season begins in April and ends in late October of each year. Our tournaments have something for everybody and vary in format from team events including scrambles, best ball and match play events. The tournament schedule also includes individual events, such as Stroke Play Championship, Match Play Championship and Seniors/Mid Am Championship. All tournaments are flighted by handicaps so to assure you are playing against fellow competitors of similar skill level. The Men’s Club also sponsors six Wednesday evening 9 hole tournaments on the facility's 9 Hole Blue Course. Banquets are held to kick off the season and to mark the end of the golf season at no additional costs to its members. The Men’s Club keeps GHIN based handicaps for its members which is administered by the Colorado Golf Association (CGA) and paid for through the annual membership renewal fee. Individual tournament entry fees are $10 per event and $5 for Wednesday night 9-hole events. All tournament entry fees are paid out in prize merchandise.
The Men’s Club strives to embrace a positive experience for all, to promote and grow the Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills and the Hyland Hills Parks and Recreation District.
